To support the Student Services department, we are looking for a student assistant (gn*) at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week which is compensated with EUR 15 per hour.
- Personal initial consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point as the "First Point of Contact": Answering inquiries in German and English for the Student Affairs department (Student Services, International Office, Program Services).
- Issuing certificates; Answering queries in day-to-day business, research tasks.
- Support in the accommodation field: Communication with students, room inspections, and handovers.
- Participation in the "Student Volunteer Groups" area: Sending out invitations to extracurricular events, and participating in the planning and implementation of extracurricular events on-site and virtually.
- Enrollment as a regular student at a state-recognized university.
- Very good German and English language skills in written and spoken communication.
- Strong service orientation, confident and engaging demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for communicating with diverse target groups.
- Structured, meticulous, and reliable work approach.
- Enjoy working in a team.
- Availability on-site and flexibility to work occasionally in the evenings and at weekends (room handovers, accompanying excursions and events).
