To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Account Manager (m/f/d) ideally located in Stuttgart, Germany.
Reporting to the Sr. Director Business Development, the Global Account Manager (m/f/d) role
will on one hand be responsible for managing the current Tier customers included in the Europe Customer Business Unit (CBU). This consists of P&L responsibility for all stages of the projects starting from quoting to nomination, current production and aftersales.
On the other hand this role will be responsible for preparing financial analysis and summaries for CBU Europe. This encompasses ensuring accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of financial metrics as well as developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies in order to ensure accurate data in compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.
What a typical day looks like:
- Relationship management with Customers at executive / resolution-making levels, being in charge of contract renewals, changes and maintenance;
- Analyze and understand customer’s business strategy, future product plans, expansion activities and align Flex resources where mutually beneficial;
- Close commercial negotiations and client pricing changes including recovery of labor indexing and other inflationary costs. Ensure all client programs execute to contract, hitting key KPIs. Hold up delivery Customer Satisfaction and Viewpoint scoring across all sites;
- Forecasting, reducing inventory; financial metrics to evaluate and assess financial performance;
- P&L reporting, monitoring all financials under the CBU and driving appropriate measures to OP improvement where needed;
- Tracking for OP Enhancement and Change Management results of the CBU leads;
- Be accountable for E&O management / claims. Participate in finance meetings, create reports for global C-level;
- Work closely with EU team to develop an accurate 5 Year Plan by customer, by product; Prepare Summary Analysis for ELT;
- Interfacing, influencing and collaborating with internal stakeholders, as well as improving communication and driving best practices across multi-sites.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- A completed degree in Business, Finance or other equivalent field of study;
- Extensive experience with strategic progressive business development and/or advancing account management in large manufacturing corporations and closing high revenue deals;
- Experience in Automotive, EMS or Tier1 business environment;
- Within a large manufacturing corporation: understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers’ needs and Flex targets and create reports;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills (interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form);
- Excellent English and ideally good German verbal and written communication skills in making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on topics to top management and various stakeholders;
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills and ability to travel mostly within Europe ~ 20 %.
