The embedded automotive sector in particular is very complex, which is why Vector created the Vector Certified Embedded Professional program. As a software development engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on the Vector Certification Program, you will be actively involved in designing it. In our team, you will work with other experts to develop content and practical exercises for certifications in innovative basic software topics (e.g. CyberSecurity, SoftwareUpdate and much more). You adapt existing content to the current version of our Vector Embedded basic software and actively contribute to the maintenance and further development of our certification infrastructure. You conduct certificate courses and exams and support other colleagues in conducting them.

Your profile:

Studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
Knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive), Linux or comparable operating systems, especially in the automotive environment
Experience dealing with tech-savvy customers
Good knowledge of German and English
Experience with C and/or C++ in embedded systems
Knowledge of the following tools/technologies is an advantage (Moodle, Articulate, virtual machines, scripting languages like Python, Vector vVirtual Target)

Your tasks:

Development and updating of technical content in cooperation with our didactics experts (basic software integration / configuration)
Implementation of training and certificate courses as well as examinations
Development and maintenance of the training and certification infrastructure in cooperation with our training teams
Active shaping of our certified community
Help shape our certification landscape
