Joining the Process Technology Development department of E&T, you will be part of the team which explores pioneering processes and technologies together with research, development, and manufacturing at Bayer worldwide. We are at the forefront of life science industry digitalization. With our scientific expertise and innovation strength we drive the development of economically and ecologically sustainable solutions. To achieve this, we combine the expert knowledge of people with different professional backgrounds in diverse teams together with our academic partners.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILTIES
The position of Expert (f/d/m) Thermal Process Engineering / Thermodynamics offers you an excellent opportunity for your professional and personal development at Bayer. We look forward to welcoming you to our Thermal Separation Technology team.
- You feel at home being at the interface between thermal process engineering (distillation &
- extraction) and thermodynamics and enjoy developing software solutions
- You take over the coordination of projects as well as the supervision of various test and pilot plants
- You develop intelligent concepts that you can validate, model, and simulate experimentally
- You are responsible for the project planning of technical apparatus and plants as well as for the modelling and simulation of complex processes and material systems
- You find technical solutions based on scientific approaches
WHO YOU ARE
We are excited about your talent and passion for the Expert (f/d/m) Thermal Process Engineering / Thermodynamics. Attracting the right talent is important to us. We would be happy to identify and shape the career and development opportunities you are looking for together with you, also on a part-time basis (min. 80%).
- You have a completed a university degree (Masters or PhD), ideally a doctorate in the field of process engineering or chemical engineering
- You have initial experience in project management, as you will be responsible for a large number of customer projects with us
- You are familiar with the essential tools in the field of thermal process engineering and thermodynamics in order to develop innovative solutions.
- Your knowledge and way of working is oriented towards new trends and technologies in our life science industry
- You believe that a collaborative approach leads to better solutions and you have strong collaboration and communication skills to achieve this
- Your actions and thinking are characterised by a high degree of goal- and result-orientation
- Your English skills are very good, both written and spoken
We use the possibilities of hybrid working flexibly. In order to experience community and collaboration, we are on site at least 2-3 days per week.
