What you'll do

Join our team as a Development Working Student (f/m/d) for Strategic Platform Innovations. You will play a crucial role in building a cutting-edge composable process platform prototype, where you'll have the opportunity to work on the frontend and/or backend services for the platform and its applications. With guidance from experienced developers, you'll contribute to various development tasks, including requirements engineering, software design, implementation, testing, and deployment. What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences, preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Computer skills:
  • Solid foundation & knowledge in computer science and software engineering methodology
  • Good programming skills in frontend frameworks (e.g., ReactJS) and/or backend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, NodeJS) and/or database system (NoSQL or SQL) - please let us know your preferences in your application
  • Experience in DevOps is a plus (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Travis)
• Language skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Soft skills:
  • Eager to learn about recent technologies & try things out
  • Hands-on, reliable, and open-minded mentality
  • Strong teamwork skills

Meet your team

You will be part of a technology-focused team with the mission to shape future generations of SAP software. We are working on projects that shall bring the vision of a composable process platform closer to SAP’s status quo solutions with a special focus on the Business Technology Platform. Collaboration with diverse skillsets is at the core of our team. Hence, you will have the chance to be frequently working with our UX designers and stakeholders of related product teams.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
