Marketing Specialist—Events in Düsseldorf bei Boston Consulting Group

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a dynamic and motivated Marketing Specialist—Events, you’ll be part of the Marketing & Communications department for our Central Europe region. Together with our consultants, you’ll be responsible for the conception, organization, and execution of various event formats for our clients and alumni.

You’ll design innovative and trendsetting event concepts and further develop the content of our existing formats on the conceptual level in close coordination with our Managing Directors. Your organizational talent will help you take responsibility for event planning and organization and manage various service providers and agencies. Flexible and solution-oriented, you will provide support for our events on-site to ensure that everything goes smoothly and professionally.

In addition, you’ll manage the planning and controlling of budgets for your events and continuously optimize the relevant processes. Finally, performance measurement and the regular compilation of marketing analyses and presentation materials will also be part of your everyday work.

• You have experience on both the strategic and the conceptual event level, are enthusiastic about new formats, and like to contribute your creative ideas to concepts

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• You have a university degree, ideally in marketing and communications, event and tourism management, or economics.
• You have relevant professional experience in the field of marketing and events.
• You have experience in digital/hybrid events,
• You enjoy working on innovative and creative projects, and it’s important to you to overcome boundaries together as a team and look beyond your horizons.
• You are proficient in MS Office software and navigate CRM systems with ease.
• Your written and spoken German and English language skills are excellent.

YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of an eight-member event team, interacting closely with your Marketing & Communications coworkers in Düsseldorf and Munich. Your team members, who have highly diverse profiles, complement one another perfectly to take our events to new levels. Your manager will assist you in familiarizing yourself with the company and developing professionally, and you will also always be able to draw on the experience of your coworkers.
