The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Inside Sales Support in the Industrial Filtration team you have the opportunity to perform sales operation tasks that allows a flawless customer experience. This key-role will have internal engagement to free up technical sales resources by taking away administrative tasks form the sales team. Moreover it will be the Go-to-Person for customers to support their transactions with Solventum.
As an Inside Sales Support you will make an impact by:
- Coordinate order process between customer, customer service team and sales team
- Release blocked orders in cooperation with the customer service and sales team
- Facilitate volume allocation, order prioritization and production scheduling with the planning and sales teams
- Willingness to have direct customer contact
- Lead the new customer set-up processes
- Execute material extensions
- Initiate special pricing or pricing tier allocation
- Establish customer quotations based on proper guidance
- Analyze sales data
- Support the organization of customer training events
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- You have successfully completed professional training as an industrial clerk or similar
- You preferably have relevant experience and are familiar with direct customer contact
- You have excellent organizing skills and appear to be a balanced and kind person, even in stressful situations
- You have good communication skills, team spirit and good knowledge of German and English
- You have good Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office products and Salesforce
Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Wuppertal at least 1-2 days per week)
