POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Finance Manager for our fast-growing North America business. As the primary contact person, you will be responsible for managing all finance related tasks in the region in cooporation with the headquarter in Lübeck, Germany. This role is fully remote with a preference for the Eastern time zone.

• Process accounts payable invoices in a timely manner
• Vendor payable analyses, payment research and filing activities
• Prepare weekly bill payment report
• Receive and record cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
• Post customer payments to their account
• Customer receivable analyses, collections and filing activities
• Retrieve banking reports and transactions for entry
• Retrieve mail and distribute appropriately
• Maintain key company documents
• Assist with employee enrollments into key finance related tools
• Federal, State and Local agency tax filings, reporting and payments
• Sales Tax Balancing, payments and filing
• Payroll processor back up
• Month-end financial reporting assistance – including journal entry preparation, general ledger balancing, transactional research
• Yearly financial audit assistance
• Management of fixed asset and inventory accounting
• Establishing new processes and checking interfaces of subsystems

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ Years post university experience within the finance field
• Experience within the manufacturing industry
• Experience in a fast-growing company environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Good Communication Skills
• Great attention to detail and thorough in completing tasks
• A knack for identifying process improvement opportunities and developing and proposing solutions
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Avalara Sales Tax platform is a plus
• Paycor payroll provider experience a plus
