Senior Communications Specialist Europe (f/m/d)

Verantwortlichkeiten & Qualifikationen:

What awaits you:

• You support the Communications department to develop the region´s external communications strategy.
• You coordinate and execute communications projects in close cooperation with the business and the marketing communications department.
• You develop impactful messages, engaging stories and create authentic, innovative, and thought-leading contents for multiple platforms.
• You manage production of communication materials, including writing, editing, proof-reading – ensuring excellent content and high quality that reflects the corporate brand and culture, and supports the company's purpose and vision.
• You manage relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage online and offline across Europe, furthermore you create and distribute meaningful press releases and media information.
• You monitor analyze and report on media coverage.
• You advise and coordinate speaking engagements for the European senior leadership team.
• You develop inspiring speeches and presentations that drive thought leadership for circularity and sustainability.
• You support the communications team in crisis communication and issue management.
• You provide guidance and support to other members of the communications team.

How you convince us:

• You have a Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related area.
• You have at least 5 years of proven experience in a global, preferably manufacturing company, using corporate communications, media relations, public relations, digital communications, and social media to build and support a global brand.
• You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills in German and English, additional good knowledge of French or Italian as third language is a plus.
• Skills in the organization of events are an advantage.
• You have proven relationship-building skills, including collaborative relationship building with key internal stakeholders as well as external influencers, business partners, and thought leaders.
• An existing network within European media is an advantage.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and influence as well as entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creative storytelling and new ideas.
• You are willing to travel occasionally, mainly within Europe.
