Your area of work ...
- The development and maintenance of optical geodetic instruments like the Trimble Digital Level DiNi®, the Terrestrial Laser Scanners of the Trimble X-Series or the construction layout total stations like Trimble Ri and PLT400 from Hilti AG.
- You will design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development of our optical survey products. Designing analogue and digital circuits adhering to the industry standards and safety guidelines at all times.
- You will develop microcontroller and microprocessor designs for variable sensor control within optical survey products.
- You will have a wide field of tasks with a freedom of design and contribute your authoritative technical expertise in a particular technical area, which can be used in multiple systems.
- You will generate inputs to your own task plans and schedules, assuming leadership role in day-to-day technical issues.
- You will conduct and generate input to the design review.
- You will support the testing processes for development, production and service.
- Supports the successful transition of completed products to manufacturing through planning activities such as NPI (new product introduction) product builds.

- Knowledge and experience in both analogue and digital circuit design and knowledge about signal-processing, HF-Design and/or Opto-Electronic.
- Profficiency in both product design and implementation.
- Programming capabilities in C, C++ and/or .NET/C#.
- Technical skills as required by the projects (e.g., E-CAD design, instrumentation (test equipment).
- Ability to identify, manage and communicate risks. Having effective analytical and problem solving skills.
- Willingness to become part of our team with long-term perspective of employment in our company, with engagement in our future and our team atmosphere.
- Capability of working independently and in a team-based environment. Self-discipline and management.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing in English, skills in persuading and influencing others within your team as well as and external business partners.
