Bruker BioSpin PreClinical Imaging is a leading manufacturer of MRI, PET, SPECT, micro-CT and MPI systems for pre-clinical research. Responsibilities:
We offer a competitive position in an innovation-oriented industrial environment with strong links to academia. You will be integrated into our development team implementing novel MR sequences and reconstruction methods. This requires a close collaboration with our colleagues in software-, hardware-development and applications. Collaborations with our academic partners will bring you in contact with leading experts in the field.
Your Tasks:
- Development of novel MRI & MRS sequences, including signal processing and reconstruction
- Improvement of existing sequences and user workflow
- Research on methodology and applications of preclinical MR
- Conceptual contribution to the design of new products
- Participation in external collaborations
- Customer support (hotline, programming courses)
- Marketing support (product demonstrations, conference presentations)
Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with emphasis on MRI
- At least 2 years of active experience in developing MRI sequences
- High competence in MR physics and mathematics
- Strong background in image reconstruction
- Excellent programming skills (C,C++,MATLAB/Python)
- Very good spoken and written English
