Executing processes and simultaneously optimizing internal tools and systems is a competitive advantage for Tesla and an essential part of our business to efficiently plan vehicle deliveries. Our team is looking for a Outbound Logistics Analyst who will be responsible for assigning outbound finished vehicles to delivery routing destinations according to plan and in the most optimized way. The Outbound Logistics Analyst will work within different internal tools & make business impacting decisions by analyzing relevant Demand, Supply, KPI´s and Logistics data and communicate with various stakeholders daily. You will be the linking point within the Gigafactory & present the Outbound Logistics team in front of the EMEA Dispatching Team, Production Scheduling & Demand Planning.
Our Outbound Logistics Analyst should have the ability to identify improvements & pull the right strings to take the correct actions & ensuring that business is running smoothly.
You will ensure that we track the correct KPI´s and set realistic targets within the sub-departments of Outbound logistics. The Outbound Logistics will create and use his own data analyses tools to create forecasts & present findings and insights as required.
What You’ll Do - Creating & setting targets up for KPI´s within Outbound logistics
- Daily review & analysis of internal tools for KPI reviews & KPI improvements
- Optimizing & forecasting delivery routing locations
- Communicate with Demand Planning, Dispatchers & Production Scheduling for trucking plan & potential disruptions
- Managing several projects around finished vehicle logistics
- Create, own & continuously optimize the trucking plan
- Data analysis and reporting deviations related to internal tools and systems
- Complete activities, tasks and special projects as needed by executives and leadership or as business needs change
What You’ll Bring - Good communication skills in English and other languages (German a plus)
- Understanding of Demand & Supply
- Planning and scheduling related concepts and strategies
- Experience within Production Planning, Supply Chain, Production scheduling or related environment
- Experience in ERP & Excel
- Experience in data analysis, Power-BI or SQL to create dashboards
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
