The position:
You will join an expert team in the area of clinical GMP manufacturing for viral vector based therapies. The main objective of your work is to support GMP manufacturing processes for AAVs. Additionally, you will be responsible for the introduction of new technologies and the qualification of new equipment in the production area. You can expect a versatile and varied job in a highly innovative working environment.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
You are responsible for process equipment and devices for the clinical production of viral vector based therapies under GMP
You perform media preparation, fermentation and/or downstream operations and supervise the processes for the production of viral vectors
You plan, coordinate and document commissioning, qualification and change control for equipment and procedures in the GMP area
You create SOPs, manufacturing and testing instructions or other documents under GMP requirements
You support the digitalization by active contribution to digital and data analytics projects
You can identify with the following statements?
You have graduated in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry or a comparable field of study/education with at least 2 years of experience in a pilot, clinical or commercial production environment
You have extensive knowledge and experience in the operation of cell culture and/or downstream equipment. Expertise in single use technologies and in viral vector production operations up to 500L helps you to fulfill the required tasks
You are experienced to work in a GMP environment and to deal with viral vectors including biosafety requirements
You are characterized by your careful, independent and responsible way of working as well as your enjoyment of working in a team
You foster a collaborative and trusting relationship
Your great self-motivation and willingness to work together interdisciplinary enables you to find innovative solutions
At the same time, new topics and learning new things are the stimulus that makes your daily work even more diverse
Your very good English skills allow you to work together efficiently in a global environment
