Join us in this newly created commercial role, enhancing the performance of our retail Monobrand Partner stores across Northern Germany. Our Monobrand Partner stores are the spearhead of B&O’s distribution network.
As our new Area Retail Manager you will be responsible for continuously improving the performance of and increasing brand awareness across our Monobrand channel in the region. Your mission will be to support our Monobrand partners, provide innovative retail knowledge and identify areas to enhance sales.
Key responsibilities
Support Monobrand Partners in reaching common goals and establishing long lasting profitable relationships.
Monitor and improve the performance of the Monobrand stores by analysing sales data and relevant KPIs, proposing activities to improve performance.
Ensure B&O Brand Standard are upheld throughout our Partners Stores. To achieve this, you will work with B&O Retail, Store design and Visual Merchandising Teams.
Drive Sell-Out by implementing channel wide programs, marketing, events and training.
Stay on top of market needs and requirements, feeding back to internal teams.
Work with commercial buying team to improve sales, including proactive partner support on stock management and order placements.
Deliver commercial actionable and scalable insights to grow our volume and profitability.
Be a collaborative and integrated member of the DACH Team, sharing wins, proposing new great activities or ways of working.
Find opportunities to expand the business and plan the development of a retail network by evaluating opportunities for expansion, both organic or through new partners or new stores.
What you bring
To excel in this role, we imagine that you have approximately 10 years experience within a retail environment, ideally from the luxury goods industry or consumer electronics.
Moreover, you bring:
Comprehensive business insight which allows you to apply knowledge of business and the market to advance the organization’s goal.
Experience working with selected independent partners and franchise stores
Advanced knowledge of retail and how to utilise retail KPIs to measure and improve store performance.
Experience and desire to work in continuously developing and complex international environment.
Effective communication and networking skills, that you will utilise when building partnerships and communicating with various stakeholders.
Experience in overseeing commercial negotiations.
Curiosity with a drive to understand the market dynamics and staying on top of market changes to identify opportunity spaces.
Fluency in English and German is mandatory.

This new role is a critical part of the extensive DACH team; including Marketing & PR, B2B Sales and Multi-brand Key Account Managers; reporting to the Market Director DACH. Additionally, you will be part of the Area Retail Manager community in EMEA and work closely with our head office retail and sales teams to ensure excellence in our Monobrand stores. The external relationships with our Monobrand partners will be paramount in this role, collaborating daily with our retail partners and their store teams across Germany.
