About the team:

You will be part of the SAP AI Research team focusing on advanced technologies in machine learning and natural language processing (NLP). You will also collaborate closely with the data science experts at the SAP Deep Learning Center of Excellence, contributing to the advancement of the SAP Enterprise AI technologies.

What you’ll do:

Position title: Working student (f/m/d) - Machine Learning
Work Area: Software-Research
Location: Berlin (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: July/August 2023

In this role, you’ll be:

• 
  Working on the next generation of SAP AI solutions for the Enterprise domain
• Developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, and Transformer architectures for Enterprise AI
• Exploring self-supervised learning on graphs for in-context learning and generative AI
• Investigating the integration of knowledge graphs with LLMs and their interface

The job is a very good opportunity to collect professional experience and work hands-on on tough ML problems while getting insights into SAP. We are a young team and offer an international and cooperative working atmosphere. We offer flexible working hours and the possibility for remote work within Germany.

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Hands-on experience with deep learning algorithms, NLP, transformer architecture and/or knowledge graphs
• Experience with Python and machine learning software packages such as scikit-learn or PyTorch
• Experience with data and error analysis and ability to clearly present core insights
• Excellent results at university; Proven track record in coursework or projects involving sophisticated machine learning algorithms
• Excellent English language skills
