MAC commercially manages the Asset Fleet of RWE Power AG & RWE Generation SE and develops opportunities by connecting Generation, Trading and Grid Business, combined with Market and Regulatory expertise. Within MAC, the Solid Fuels Team has the central steering role for the supply of Waste and Alternative (Solid) Fuels for the Plants of RWE Generation SE and shareholdings, as well as disposal of residues. With our commercial and technical expertise, we conduct negotiations with customers on the supply or disposal of different kinds of waste. We are active nationally and in other European Countries.

• Negotiation with Customers for deliveries and pricing of 1mt
• Co-working in strategic decisions for our plants
• Detail work for securing the supply and disposal of our plants
• Procurement of hazardous and non-hazardous commercial & municipal waste
• Commercialisation and customer management of plant related residues

Your powerful skills

• Successfully completed university degree in Business, Economics or ’Betriebswirt’
• Knowledge of handling combustible and incombustible waste
• Knowledge of national and international law for waste handling
• Good manners and negotiating skills with B2B customers
• Good team player, high level of self-motivation and flexibility
• Excellent commercial understanding for calculations and financial planning
• High level of commitment to the tasks
• Fluent German & good English language

Advantageous, but not a must

• First work experience in energy or waste business would be an advantage
• Experience in logistics would be an advantage
• Language skills in Italian or French
