We are seeking an experienced data scientist with specific expertise in compensation and benefits. You will be responsible for analyzing data by deploying various kinds of data analytics methods, models (e.g. predictive models, AI) and algorithms to extract and visualize relevant insights that support our global compensation initiatives and promote pay transparency across the organization. Additionally, you will also be responsible for driving standardizing of tools to enhance consistency and efficiency in compensation processes. You will also be delivering Market Intelligence (MI) compensation solutions to CB team, as well as providing support for a broad range of global and regional compensation activities.

In your role you particularly will:
- Lead data science projects focused on compensation analytics and insights generation, including market intelligence
- Conducts large-volume data exploration and identify relevant data sets and new relations in data
- Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast compensation trends, analyze large datasets to provide actionable recommendations to the Compensation team
- Develop analytic models, configure, and deploy algorithms, select optimal and standardized tools, and define visualization methods to display results
- Determine sustainable processes to support fast growing data volumes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and seamless accessibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven compensation strategies
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all compensation-related data analytics
- Create and deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in compensation analytics and tools
You'll win us over by: - Education: Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience:
- Overall experience of minimum 8 years in data science, ideally with focus on HR projects
- Proven experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling
- Proficiency in data-science relevant programming languages such as Python and SQLT. Proven experience in data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience with cloud warehouses and analytics solutions such as Snowflake, dbt or Azure Machine Learning is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to consult and partner with cross-functional teams to deeply understand their needs, objectives, and challenges
- Utilize data-driven insights to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate findings, inform decision-making, and solve business problems
- Proficient in translating complex data into actionable recommendations and clear, impactful stories tailored to diverse audiences
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work within a matrixed organization, across borders with cross-functional teams
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language such as German is a plus
