As an associate in our Business Resiliency team, you will support JPMSE to safeguard its staff, clients and shareholder interest, by ensuring the business´s ability to maintain appropriate operating levels, despite all types of physical business disruptions. The function provides a formal structure allowing for cohesive and centralized oversight of the enterprise-wide control environment, partnering closely with all Lines of Business in JPMSE, the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC) organization, Firmwide Business Resiliency, Compliance, Risk, Audit and other control disciplines. In this role you will get broad exposure to the workings of the business. Job Responsibilities
- Work with all lines of business and functions as well as senior level executives
- Build an effective network
- Support the senior resilience meetings and governance forums
- Support the production of executive and board level content
- support the businesses identifying and managing business resiliency risk
- Communicate key resiliency messages across JPMSE Lines of Business stakeholder network
- Manage a complex and interesting portfolio of work
- Review resilience policies, delivery and assessment to meet regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance to business on resiliency program and toolset
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Knowledge of the corporate & investment banking business.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
- Strong, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills which they are able to flex for the audience
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly
- High degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to work well under pressure
- Acts with integrity, and displays problem solving ability and resourcefulness
- Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard, to tight timelines.
- Ability to balance and deliver upon multiple delivery requests whilst managing expectations.
