As CFO you are a core part of the senior management team at Expertlead, ultimately responsible for driving the commercial success of the company. You will be solely responsible for all Finance topics, but you will also directly influence all strategic decision making at Expertlead.

Your Mission

• Set the strategic direction of the company together with the senior management and contribute to it among others by setting up a business plan and budgets and by supporting the growth of the company by allocating funds most effectively to departments and use cases
• Cash flow management: Set up a consolidated cash flow model and ensure the company’s liquidity at any time
• Develop and execute on a M&A strategy to support the company's inorganic growth where it makes sense
• Investor relations and management: Be responsible for reporting to our investors and budget alignment as well as reporting vs set budgets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
• Evaluate the strategic rationale & need behind bringing additional investors on board - be it equity, debt, or mezzanine - and fully own the process of securing financing if it makes sense for the business
• Accounting & Taxation: Take ownership for financial audits and statements, verify current financial processes and challenge the status quo, establish business readiness for IFRS and consolidation
• Financial operations: Assess, improve, and automate the operations in the Finance department as well as cross-functional processes related to the Finance team and fully-automate any financial and other KPI tracking in collaboration with our COO
• Lead a team of 4+ ambitious members in our Finance team, enabling their best performance and growth

Your Skill Set

• Experience as CFO in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrable leadership skills in finance, ideally in an exponentially growing company
• Proven track record with financing rounds (equity/debt/mezzanine) as well as M&A
• A hands-on mentality as well as a strategic mindset
• Knowledge of the German GAAP
• Business fluent English skills, German is a big plus
