Pooling engineering expertise, driving innovative technical and digital solutions to design and deliver the most cost-effective energy storage projects - that is the goal of the Global Battery Storage Engineering Team at RWE. We are building a global centre of excellence in energy storage engineering that will support the growth ambitions of the entire RWE Group by ensuring that energy storage projects are designed to the highest quality by RWE and its customers along the entire lifecycle - from the development phase to operation.
- Assumption of plant and work responsibility
- Switch cabinet testing according to DIN VDE
- Inverter maintenance and repair according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintenance of stationary and vehicle batteries
- Switching operations in the medium and low voltage range
- Replacement of defective components
- On-site support of remote activities and troubleshooting
- Supervision of external service teams
- Pre- and post-processing as well as reporting and documentation of service activities and maintenance reports
Your powerful skills
- Completed training in the field of electrical engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the relevant field of activity
- Specialised knowledge in the areas of electrical engineering / mechatronics, power electronics, network technology or programmable logic control (PLC)
- Willingness to travel within Germany and other European countries
- Good written and spoken English and German (at least B2)
Advantageous, but not a must
- Experience in the operation of industrial trucks, lifting platforms and lifting equipment
- Experience of working under voltage
- Additional qualification as first aider
