These challenges await you:

• Responsible support of the project team in the conception and construction of tools for the complex plastic parts from the offer phase to series production.

• Creation, design, analysis and inspection of tool concepts, specifications and standards for tools.

• Planning and tracking of tools in terms of deadline and part quality.

• Creation of specifications and standards for tools.

• Selection of suitable suppliers based on the evaluation and analysis of machines, tools and manufacturing processes with regard to quality and efficiency.

• Estimating and comparing costs including negotiating costs with suppliers and customers.

• Support and coordination with suppliers, also on site.

• Tracking new technologies, optimizing processes.

You inspire us with that:

• Completed engineering degree (ideally, plastics technology / mechanics) or equal like toolmaker with further training to become a master / certified technician.

• First professional experience in the automotive industry in the development area is an advantage.

• Knowledge in the field of plastic injection molding, tool technology as well as knowledge in the field of stamping and forming technology and die casting is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, Google G Suite, very good written and spoken English, knowledge of CAD (viewer) is an advantage.

• Ability to work in a team and very good communication skills.

• Willingness to travel worldwide.

• Fluency in English and German.
