Yook is a technology-driven impact start-up that aims to help e-commerce become more sustainable. We want to fight climate change through seamless climate actions, directly where daily decisions are being made. Our first challenge: enabling climate action at every point-of-sale in e-commerce.

Aufgaben

It's about PHP/Symfony (but not only), it's about strong architecture and tech vision but working with startup constraints, it's about being incremental without giving up the basics, it's about teams that are real groups of individuals working together on something bigger, it's about having an impact on one of the biggest challenge that stays in front of us!

As an experienced crafts(wo)man, you are in charge of the technology impulses in our team and pay attention to the expansion of the current code guidelines and standards. You ensure that projects run smoothly and develop complex and highly scalable technical solutions. We prefer ownership through alignment over a more hierarchical kind of organization. Autonomy, leadership, passion, and fun are key to success in this position.

About tech, we are still at the early stages of our developments but there are some principles that we will stick to, whatever stage our company will be:

Qualifikation

• You are a developer with passion and in top shape with PHP and Symfony.
• A pinch of an entrepreneurial mindset is a big plus
• Experience in developing large, scalable platforms
• You know and appreciate the advantages of Domain Driven Development
• Strong awareness of Clean Code
• Confident knowledge of English in spoken and written form
