RIMOWA has an exciting job offer for a Material Planning/Procurement Intern (m/f/d) to join our Supply Chain Team. By joining us, you will play a very important part in the Procurement activity and will have to deal with our suppliers as well as our internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production. If you have a strong team spirit and you are excited by problem solving, this job is perfect for you!
The job is located in Cologne and you should be available for at least 6 months. The internship will be compensated.
YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Assist in developing KPIs to measure the supplier performance – especially lead time adherence, timely deliveries, and order fulfilment rate;
- Develop dashboards to visualize the KPIs;
- Analyse, suggest and implement improvements for the existing processes;
- Work on Value stream Mapping and Co-ordinating with IT for Process improvements;
- Ensure Master Data Accuracy for New Projects/ Limited editions and seasonal projects.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Currently pursuing Engineering or Business studies with specialization in supply chain management
- Ability to multitask and co-ordinate subjects with multiple stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Data analytics and Power BI
- Organised and structured way of working
- Good at time management, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Skilled and interested in problem-solving
- Proactive and solution-minded
- Prior experience in Material Planning/ Procurement would be beneficial
- Good English and German communication skills in writing as well as speaking (at least B2 level)
