RIMOWA has an exciting job offer for a Material Planning/Procurement Intern (m/f/d) to join our Supply Chain Team. By joining us, you will play a very important part in the Procurement activity and will have to deal with our suppliers as well as our internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production. The job is located in Cologne and you should be available for at least 6 months. The internship will be compensated.

YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Assist in developing KPIs to measure the supplier performance – especially lead time adherence, timely deliveries, and order fulfilment rate;
• Develop dashboards to visualize the KPIs;
• Analyse, suggest and implement improvements for the existing processes;
• Work on Value stream Mapping and Co-ordinating with IT for Process improvements;
• Ensure Master Data Accuracy for New Projects/ Limited editions and seasonal projects.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Currently pursuing Engineering or Business studies with specialization in supply chain management
• Ability to multitask and co-ordinate subjects with multiple stakeholders
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Data analytics and Power BI
• Organised and structured way of working
• Good at time management, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Skilled and interested in problem-solving
• Proactive and solution-minded
• Prior experience in Material Planning/ Procurement would be beneficial
• Good English and German communication skills in writing as well as speaking (at least B2 level)
