Our investment team is looking for an
Investment Manager (Analyst/Associate level)
Your Role
You will be part of the investment team that is responsible for selecting alternative
investments and advising on portfolio construction. Your focus will be on the analysis of
investment strategies. With a strong academic background and keen interest for capital
markets you will conduct independent research to recommend investment products and
allocation strategies. In doing so, you will be in close contact with our global network of
hedge fund managers, service providers, and other industry specialists and carry out
investment presentations to clients or the investment team as required.
You will take on the following responsibilities

• Produce analysis and recommendations on alternative investment products and

strategies

• Develop and utilize quantitative techniques for the selection and monitoring of

investment strategies and portfolios

• Assist in portfolio construction, analysis, and monitoring
• Collaborate on projects with our software engineering team aimed at improving

our investment solutions

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the firm’s investment processes and

analytics library
You should possess the following qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance, computer science, engineering, mathematics,

statistics, or another quantitative discipline. PhD also welcome

• Up to 4 years’ experience working in a research focused environment, either within

the financial services industry or academia

• Strong data analysis skills with experience in one or more high-level programming

languages (e.g. R, Python)

• Strong understanding of economic and financial concepts
• Sharp communication skills and attention to detail

• Fluency in both German and English is a must
