What part will you play? – Introduction
As member of the Pharma Technology and Expertise team (T&E) you are promoting the Automation Portfolio of Siemens, supporting our regions in strategic projects, and coordinating an ecosystem of customers, OEMs, EPCs, and integrators. This includes facilitating promotional activities, coordinating information between headquarters and regions, and enabling effective communication between customers and suppliers. Building strong relationships, driving consultative selling approaches, and maintaining a network of industry experts are essential. Additionally, the role involves continuous customer relationship development and collaboration with the OEM account team to ensure effective technical support and decision-making.
What part will you play? – The key objectives are
- Support strategic projects and coordinate the involved ecosystem consisting of End Customers / OEMs / EPCs / Integrators in close cooperation with the Corporate Account Management, Technical Account Management and Account Management.
- Facilitate and support push activities together with the Account Team of the relevant involved stakeholders (like OEMs). This involves coordination, presales and project support.
- Coordinate information and alignments between HQ and involved regions.
- Enable the Push/Pull between customers, suppliers and establishing standards for automation systems.
- Provide domain expertise in Siemens Pharma Manufacturing Solutions for OEMs and Line Builders (Automation and Digitalization know how, experience with validations in Pharma, competitor intelligence) to become a trusted advisor for the OEMs and the related Account Team. So you can offer expertise support and transfer your Pharma knowledge to Sales.
- Consulting of technical automation & digitalization concepts and standards for Pharma Manufacturing key customers.
- Drive 'Consultative Selling' including participation in technological workshops with customers.
- Build and maintain strong network with key decision makers and well-known experts within the pharmaceutical community.
- Continuous Customer Relationship Development to OEMs and OEM Account Team as trusted VM Pharma Expert in close collaboration with the OEM AM.
- Drives relationship management for all technical contacts and decision-makers at the customer (i.e. CTO) in close collaboration with the OEM AM.
What you need to make real what matters. – Qualifications & Skills
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Biotech, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering from reputable university or college.
- You bring with a solid technical expertise in Pharma concepts for OT/IT with SCADA (e.g. WinCC Unified), HMIs, Edge, …
- Preferably, you have several years’ experience in (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing execution and the automation market in an Engineering, Business Development or Sales position with strong business mindset and technical expertise.
- You can master an entrepreneurship, consultative selling approach knowing the industry and the client key issues and business drivers.
- You are known as a Subject matter expertise of the pharmaceutical market segments within Manufacturing and R&D.
- You will impress us with your excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
