Data analyst working student (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented data analyst working student to join our data & insights team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, creating reports, and providing insights to support business decisions. Being part of the D&I team, you will work closely together with data engineers, and other data analysts while collaborating with business stakeholders and specialists. This is a part-time role with flexible hours that can be adjusted to fit around your studies.

Working field:

Analyze and interpret large data sets to provide actionable insights for investment decisions and portfolio management
Assist in the ongoing benchmarking and evaluating portfolio companies' performance using various data sources and analytical tools
Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Conduct research and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities better decision making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives
Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Data Science, Economics, Finance, or Business-related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, R) and programming languages
Familiarity with financial concepts and private equity industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
