Principal duties and responsibilities:
- You will keep yourself up to date on state-of-the-art in generative AI, ASR, NLU and related domains.
- You will design, implement and evaluate new concepts and contribute to the next generation of our systems.
- You will interact with multiple teams to create collaborations where possible. You will contribute to other technical areas within the company where relevant.
- You will learn about other related technologies within the company (e.g., natural language generation, text to speech, dialog systems) in order to improve the user experience and create synergies.
- You will help bring your creations to life in our products by interacting with other engineering teams, product management and production teams.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D. or Master's degree in an AI related field (Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing, Image processing, etc.)
- Minimum years of work experience: 2
Required skills:
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++
- Experience in (Generative) Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Large Language Models
- Strong proficiency in software design and continuous integration
- Solid background in mathematics and statistical modeling
- You are a team player and are goal-oriented
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of related technologies: automatic speech recognition, natural language processing, dialog systems, etc.
- Knowledge of languages other than English, such as e.g., German, French, Mandarin, …
- User experience with HPC and grid software
- Knowledge of embedded platforms
