For our Darmstadt Professional Beauty Research & Development team, we are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) - Prestige Care & Styling to join us as soon as possible for at least 6 months assignment. The role would have a focus on co-developing and supporting product research and development.
THE ROLE
We offer you an exciting technology development working student role for Wella Prestige Care & Styling. Your work will include:
- Be a part of the Hair Care & Styling technology development/formulation team working on physical-chemical hair test methods.
- Analyze and test hair color retention improvements due to hair care products.
- Focus is on laboratory tests on hair strands to measure hair color wash-out and UV/sun light resistance.
- The candidate needs to collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate existing knowledge.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor's Degree from a university in biology/biotech, chemistry, cosmetic or natural sciences, etc.
- A background in cosmetic product development or the regulated cosmetic environment is a plus.
- Team player and “can do” attitude.
- Desire to penetrate science deeply and support hair care product performance tests with robust science approaches.
- A bias towards beauty and being in touch with trends in the beauty industry.
- Communication and presentation skills for verbal and written communication (in English) of ideas, technical rationales, risks, issues and recommendations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid certificate of enrolment for the entire period of employment.
