Director Quality (d/f/m)
in Munich or Schwäbisch Gmünd near Aalen

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

• Global responsibility for schleich's quality management system, controls, and quality strategy
• Supplier quality management: lead our transformation to a zero-defect culture with our strategic suppliers
• Disciplinary and functional accountability and responsibility for Quality Management, Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance
• Primary contact person for all quality issues with market surveillance authorities, customers and other organizations and associations within the toy industry, especially in reviewing and validating quality-related customer and supplier contract terms
• Establishment and tracking of quality performance indicators as well as responsibility for audit results including corrective measures and continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance and ESG standards with our suppliers

Your story so far:

• You have a great passion for team and people development
• You gained experience in quality management, particularly in supplier quality management, ideally in the toy, food or consumer goods industry; e.g. leading quality in contract manufacturing networks
• You have additional qualifications in the area of quality management with training certificates, e.g. Quality Auditor (d/f/m)
• You are familiar with chemical safety assessments of raw materials and products, and with regulations in Europe (REACH/CLP) or worldwide (GHS)
• You gained experience with (toy) safety requirements and compliance management, ideally in an industry comparable to ours
• You know how to best cooperate with authorities and external testing institutes
• Your English skills are fluent, both written and spoken
