In order to support the Mechanical Design Office, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Internship (d/m/w) Design and Construction

We are looking for interns (d/m/w) for the design and construction department at the Friedrichshafen site. We offer an interesting insight into the design and development work for space projects.

• Location: Friedrichshafen

• Start: March 2024 (flexibel)

• Duration: 3 months possible, 6 months preferred

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Accommodation and construction of mechanical units, mechanisms, equipment, instruments and satellites.

• Detailed design of mechanical units

• Preparation of technical documentation

• Preparation of manufacturing drawings, integration drawings and parts lists

• Support of project specific tasks in the development process

• Working with 3D-CAD (CATIA V5/V6)

Desired skills and qualifications

• Studies in the field of engineering / aerospace engineering / mechanical engineering

• Experience with 3D CAD software (CATIA V5/V6)

• Good German and English language skills
