In the course of the further industrialization of Spacecraft Production Germany, an AIT- Engineer/Scheduling (d/f/m) position has just opened at Airbus Defence & Space in Immenstaad. You will be part of the AIT team working for the Galileo Second Generation project, with a focus on operational AIT planning.
Through this mission, you will mainly support the Galileo AIT manager. You will be a key player in the AIT team for the management of operational AIT schedule thanks to your knowledge in the application of planning processes. You will establish and monitor the detailed AIT planning and manage potential deviations by performing regular AIT schedule trade-offs and optimizations.

Collection and consolidation of requirements and data (both internal and external) required for the elaboration of the operational AIT planning
Definition, control and pro-active management of AIT KIDS (Key Interface Data) and their regular maintenance
Generation, periodic update and maintenance of the detailed AIT schedule, coordinating the inputs from the various stakeholders involved (mainly Galileo Project Management Office, AIT project management, procurement, engineering)
Tracking of the day-to-day progress with respect to the AIT planning
Tracking and planning of activities related to non-conformances and open work in co-operation with Quality Assurance
Perform regular AIT schedule trade-offs and optimizations
Preparation and support of Schedule Control Boards (Early Warning System) in co-operation with the Galileo Project Management Office and the AIT Management
Support of maturity gates for TOMG industrialisation process
Regular analysis of schedule deviations, risks and bottlenecks in support of the TOMG risk management
Evaluation of trends and schedule adherence (KPIs)
Reporting to internal and external clients
Experience creating and maintaining schedules, preferably in aerospace or related disciplines
Experience in the use of planning tools
Experience and knowledge in space, especially in AIT and adjacent disciplines
Experience in interdisciplinary working groups
Experience in planning and execution of institutional space projects (ESA, EU, DLR)
High social competence, good communication, experience in dealing with resistance and conflicts
Business fluent in English and German
