Localization Manager in Home Office bei YAZIO GmbH

As a localization manager at YAZIO, you will work cross-departmentally with other YAZIO team members and with external language specialists to ensure high-quality, localized content fit for our international markets. This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.

• Assign, manage and ensure timely delivery of localization tasks.
• Work with internal and external language specialists for our 20 language locales.
• Manage our pool of freelancers and actively recruit new translators and copy editors when needed.
• Onboard new freelance translators and copy editors.
• Answer questions from our language specialists to ensure an efficient, smooth translation and localization process.
• Work closely with other YAZIO departments, including our Product and Marketing Teams, to deliver content aligned with our overarching company strategy and goals.

• Degree in translation, communication sciences or a related field of study
• 2+ years of management experience in the field of localization, working with localization tools and implementing localization workflows and processes
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines
• MUST HAVE: Strong affinity for internet and mobile technology
• Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills; additional languages are a plus
• Structured and independent work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
• Interest in health and nutrition a plus
