We are looking for a Category Purchasing Analyst (all genders), to join our Suppliers, Assortment & Pricing Analytics Team. You will be part of a team of 7 people that cover domains like: pricing, supply chain, category and purchasing, fulfillment & retail media campaign. In this role, you will contribute to the success of flaconi's Category Purchasing Team by providing data-driven insights and ensuring strategic decision-making. You play an important part in the company's growth and competitiveness.
- You play a crucial role in understanding the business needs of the Category Purchasing Team and providing valuable insights to support the decision-making process, turning issues into data-driven questions
- You monitor and analyze Sell-in and Sell-out Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to contribute to the commercial success of flaconi
- Additionally, you scan the data to highlight areas for improvement and identify opportunities, leading projects to drive these improvements
- You quantify how flaconi performs against competitors, pointing out opportunities for growth and market trends to watch
- Furthermore, you conduct market analysis and closely monitor the development of categories, identifying gaps in brand and product type coverage compared to major competitors or demand trends
- In addition, you generate insights to steer annual negotiations with suppliers and facilitate intra-year business relationships with goods providers
- Previous Analyst experience in category, assortment, and purchasing/buying analytics
- Strong expertise in SQL and/or Python (Proficiency will be tested during the interview process)
- Good data and concepts visualization skills, experience in dashboarding or BI reporting
- Ideally, first-hand experience in E-commerce
- Excellent communication & presentation skills and the ability to persuade your stakeholders
- Good written and verbal English
- Full transparency: For this role, we have a salary band between 50000€ and 63000€ gross per year. The salary that we will offer you will always be within this span and is based on the skills that you show during the recruitment process.
