What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-Wexford Staff Action Specialist, your worksite will be at the command headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, for the entire period of performance. The Staff Action Specialist shall be responsible for mission enabling support to USAFRICOM for administrative support for the Freedom of Information Action (FOIA) program. You will be expected to assist with compiling, drafting, and preparing of requested records that requires full or partial disclosure under the control of the command. The Staff Action Specialist may be required to making redactions to documents under the direction of an Initial Denial Authority (IDA). As well as prepare correspondence for signature by a U.S. Government Official. Work will be both classified and unclassified.
More About this Role:
- You will communicate with a FOIA requestor concerning the status of the FOIA request.
- You will Recommend information to be denied to U.S. Government Official.
- You will enter relevant information into the DoD Component’s FOIA tracking system.
- You will Manage all staff actions at Secretariat of the Joint Staff (SJS) level regarding FOIA through Task Management Tool.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Minimum of current Secret Security Clearance.
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- More than one year experience managing and supporting staff requirements.
- Working knowledge of DoD, DoS, and USAFRICOM policies
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience, or an Associate degree and seven (7) years of experience
- Working knowledge of the missions of USAFRICOM, US Special Operations Command, and their corresponding components and sub-unified commands.
- Experience interacting with and briefing Flag and General Officers.
- Five (5) years’ experience with DoD and DoS systems to support staff requirements.
- Prior experience in direct support of the client
- Ability to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
- Experience with the Task Management Tool (TMT)
