What to Expect
The Communications & Content Manager will build and lead the Central Europe Content and Programs team to help create and drive compelling narratives, campaigns, and announcements that communicate the benefits and value of Tesla’s products across all content channels. This position will speak with and listen to our customers, enthusiasts, investors and, of course, journalists in traditional and in radically different ways. You will work closely with other teams, especially sales, service, government relations, engineering and finance. The role requires a solution oriented, flexible self-driver with the ability to change course quickly, the ability to think big and start small, and someone who thrives in high-stress situations.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute creative content campaigns and narratives
- Drive awareness of our products through relevant publications and influencer channels and through awareness campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media and influencers.
- Consistently and doggedly correct misinformation and inaccuracies
- Set strategic direction for product launches and announcements together with the executive leadership team
- Develop written materials, including product messaging, content plans and FAQs, blog posts, and other collateral.
- Develop strategy to deal with ongoing issues and crisis management
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum 10 years relevant work experience including 3 years or more at senior strategic level, either at a PR agency or on an in-house corporate communications or content team.
- Experience representing communications and content to regional leadership teams
- A self-starter who instinctively and consistently creates personal and professional stretch goals and meets them.
- Able to build and lead a team and to work well with others by building trust and creating a collaborative environment
- Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities. Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
- Excellent writing and editing skills. Fluency in English and local language is required. Any additional European language is of advantage.
