Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Sales for the product portfolio “Thermal Waste Treatment” in Europe and the Middle East
• Development of the market position to become the preferred technology provider
• Responsibility for the acquisition of new customers and initiation of project cooperations
• Development and maintenance of a project portfolio in the assigned market area
• Implementation of market entry and expansion strategies in line with the corporate strategy
• Customer and market analysis to develop regional market knowledge and identify local cooperation partners
• Participation in conferences and trade fairs
• Preparation of presentations to present offers to clients and for internal approval processes
• Prequalification for participation in public and private tenders
• Preparing and conducting client negotiations together with the bid management team

Your profile

• Degree in engineering or industrial engineering preferably in the field of mechanical, process or energy engineering or comparable training
• Proven track record in sales and business development with private and public sector clients (e.g. utilities, municipal utilities, special purpose associations)
• Experience in sales as well as bid preparation for complex projects in plant construction or related industries, ideally in the field of thermal waste utilisation, waste management, sewage sludge utilisation or power generation
• Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
• Goal-oriented, structured, analytical way of working
• High level of commitment and initiative
• High social competence and confident appearance
• Business fluent in German and English, ideally one other foreign language, e.g. French or Italian
• Willingness to travel regularly
