• The Center HSES Responsible is responsible for implementing the HSES requirements and continuously improving the safety performance by actively promoting prevention actions and the safety culture among employees and contractors.

• Specificity for Fire and HSES in design manager: The Center HSES Responsible is responsible to perform fire assessment and to issue the HSES design philosophies and Safety concepts.

• Ensure the safety and security of Air Liquide personnel and subcontractors in offices working within the framework of E&C (Engineering & Construction) Europe activities as per HSES Policy.

• Drive continuous improvement in the HSES management system, Implement HSE certifications (MASE, SCC, ISO 450001, when applicable) & perform Global HSES reporting.

• Identify and analyze the risks on a yearly basis (Job Hazard Analysis - JHA), provide HSES training for newcomers/refresher training and manage environmental risk in the offices.

• Provide the required reporting to local authorities as per local regulation (inspection report, accident declaration).

• Oversee regulatory compliance, emergency procedure, first aid, waste treatment, PPE (Personal protective equipment) and safety events analysis.

• Strive for continual improvement and ensure HSES regulatory compliance.

• Understanding of Atex / hazardous area classification (IEC or equivalent), flammable product properties, and conduct fire risk assessments.

• Supervise the work of a 3rd party involvement in active and passive fire protection, defining rules, and ensuring compliance.

• Validate HSES requirements in plot plan and design reviews, ability to review F&G detection plot and Issue HSES design philosophy and Safety concept.

• Conduct Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) studies for projects.

Are you a match?

• BTEC Higher National Diploma/Master’s Degree (HSES, Chemistry, Biology, Human Sciences)

• SCC, ISO 45001 Referential lead auditor with 3-5 years HSES experience in oil and chemicals

• Expertise in fire fighting, flammables gasses and fire detection

• Experience in issuing HSES design philosophy, safety concept & knowledge of HSES labor law and norms

• Familiar with methodological tools (risk analysis, prevention plan, causal trees, etc.)

• Willingness to travel within Europe (mainly Paris and Krakow). 2-3 Business trips every three months.

• Proficient in English & German (both spoken and written)
