We’re currently expanding our Operations Team and looking for a Junior Operations Associate (f/m) who wants to enter the world of VC ops and join us at our Berlin office.
What will you be working on?
As our Junior Operations Associate at Point Nine, you’ll be an essential member of our operations team and will work on a variety of tasks:
You’ll be our chief data collector (portfolio companies: eg. KPIs, annual accounts; investors: eg. W-Forms, CRS updates, etc.).
You’ll maintain a consistent portfolio KPI reporting.
You’ll be in charge of organizing and filing bank statements, invoices and other documents for our funds and our management companies.
You’ll be responsible for the execution of payments as well as efficient processing of capital calls and invoices.
You’ll be working on preparatory bookkeeping (issuing invoices, managing invoice approvals and travel expenses through Candis, procuring monthly Pleo statements, preparing monthly petty cash statements, etc.).
You’ll support the submission of regulatory reporting (eg. German Federal Bank, FATCA, CRS).
You’ll own a variety of administrative tasks related to financial statements.
You’ll assist our legal and operations teams in the processing of transactions and related documentation.
You’ll support our Anti-Money Laundering Officer in regular AML updates of our business partners.
You’ll get exposure to exciting long-term projects like international expansion, hiring, software introductions etc.
You’ll report to our Head of Finance but support the whole operations team.

You have a degree with an excellent academic record.
You have 1-2 years of relevant experience working in an operations department of a VC/PE, a fund administrator, a family office or a bank.
You have excellent analytical skills and a can-do mentality.

You work autonomously, but you’re a great team player.
You have a down to earth mentality, excellent communication skills, passion for the job and empathy in relationships.
You thrive in a fast paced environment; you don’t mind substantial swings in workloads and new challenges.
You have excellent knowledge of Excel and Google suite.
You’re fluent in written/spoken English. German language skills are a (huge) plus. French/Portuguese/Spanish would be nice to have.
