About The Role

The Content Team creates the world-class content that is released in the Blinkist app every day. We are looking for a Content Specialist with fluent English and Spanish skills who can help us achieve our ambitious production goals as well as improve our formats and processes. You will directly contribute to the team's success by: creating content, innovating on formats and processes, and taking over administrative tasks.

A little about you: You're a proactive problem-solver with an agile mindset and a passion for great learning content. You have experience as a producer, editor or project manager at a content or media company. You're an excellent team player with strong communication skills but you also take full ownership of your domains. The salary range for this position is €44,000 - €52,000 gross/year, for an employee based in Germany.

What You Will Do

• Oversee production of multiple content pieces for the Blinkist app
• Work with a team of freelancers and external partners to produce written and audio Blinks
• Perform quality-checks on written and audio content
• Utilize cutting edge content production tools such as generative AI
• Assist with production management tasks

What You Need To Have

• 2+ years of experience in written or audio content production (internships / traineeships count)
• A background in writing, editing, journalism or podcast production
• Experience with Google Sheets / Excel and are open to try new tools
• Strong project management skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Clear and careful communication - you don't shy away from discussing and resolving conflict and tensions
• Initiative - you act with confidence and work under your own direction
• Self-awareness and a dedication to self-improvement, ambition, and proactiveness - you can admit to mistakes and learn from them
• Ability to work effectively as part of a (remote) team on achieving shared goals - you put the group's interest before your own
• Creativity - you love to bring your own ideas
• Solution oriented - you don't dwell on problems but actively look for solutions
