What we expect

Manage and enhance the global Internal Control System (ICS) in collaboration with an international team, serving as the primary contact for our Legal Entities
Develop and optimize ICS processes, striving for increased automation and efficiency, aligning with corporate functions and Business Units
Define ICS guidelines, work instructions, templates, and best practices, ensuring their effective implementation across the organization
Support local ICS Operations and managers, providing guidance and assistance to ensure alignment with global standards
Lead and implement various projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing the ICS system globally, focusing on enhancing transparency and efficacy
Conduct ICS testing activities for TKE GmbH, ensuring adherence to established controls and identifying areas for improvement
Manage the ICS system, tracking measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Participate actively in internal audits, providing expertise and insights to support the audit process

Who we are looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience in Internal Controls, preferably in an international setting, audit, or consulting (Big4)
Experience in IT General Controls (ITGC)
Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and enhancing business results
Strong initiative, proactive approach, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Ability to simplify complex processes and automate where possible to eliminate non-value-added work
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and German; knowledge of Spanish and French is advantageous
Willingness to travel up to 40%
