Software Engineer - PHP in München bei FlixMobility

We're looking for a motivated and driven Software Engineer who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You will work in a cross-functional and self-organized team, which works on software related to our ecommerce business
• You will work with microservices meant to assist in operating various individual products for our customer
• You will analyze, propose and drive technology improvements
• You will be expected to write clean code
• You will have a lot of room and autonomy to concept and implement new features, while maintenance and continuous improvement of the existing codebase also plays a big part

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• 2+ years of experience developing applications in a web environment
• Deep understanding of OOP and Software Design Patterns
• Experience working with PHP 7+ (Symfony is a plus), Curiosity about other languages
• Experience designing and working with SQL databases (NoSQL is a plus)
• Experience writing Unit- and Integration-Tests
• Familiar with CI/CD
• Understanding of queue-based messaging (RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, Kafka is a plus)
• Familiar with cloud providers (AWS is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Passionate about healthy team culture and collaboration
