As our Privacy Manager, you help to implement, maintain and continuously improve data protection processes across the Awin group. You will be in a hands-on operational and administrative role, advising on the protection of personal data in accordance with applicable laws and standards. As part of the Legal team, you will collaborate closely with your team members, as well as cross-departmentally, to audit the protection of personal data in new or existing business processes and to help promote privacy throughout the organisation.

- Draft, update and implement privacy documentation such as internal and external policies, guidance, process documentation, templates and contracts
- Monitor the privacy mailbox and appropriately action requests received
- Prepare and execute regular trainings to improve organisational privacy awareness
- Respond to external privacy audit requests and questionnaires, as well as assess data privacy compliance of third-party suppliers
- Carry out standardised data protection tasks including DSARs (data subject requests), data mapping, incident management, and maintaining all privacy records in compliance with applicable laws
- Proactively contribute ideas and integrate new workflows or tools/systems to improve internal processes
- Pursue privacy projects to completion, including auditing processes and systems, initiating and contributing to DPIAs, TIAs and other assessments as appropriate
- Provide support to the Legal team on more complex privacy projects
- 2+ years' relevant work experience – in data protection/privacy, legal, compliance, risk management or project management
- Deep understanding of legal and regulatory privacy requirements within UK/Europe (working knowledge of the GDPR is a must), as well as an appreciation of varying privacy requirements in different jurisdictions (especially US, Brazil and Australia is desirable)
- Team player with the ability to proactively collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams
- Dynamic and driven individual with a "can-do" attitude
- Highly organised, with attention to detail and a process-oriented approach to executing tasks
- Confident operating in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment, balancing competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, law or similar
- Relevant professional qualifications preferred, e.g. law degree, Certified International Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification
- Confident working with various software and platforms, including data management automation tools
- Excellent written and spoken English. German and/or further European languages are a plus.
