As an Investment Associate, you will play a crucial role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the execution of investments in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Deal Sourcing: Collaborate with the Private Equity team to identify and source potential investment opportunities in the healthcare industry. This involves thorough market research, industry analysis, and building a strong network within the healthcare investment community.

2. Investment Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment of potential investment targets. Utilize financial modeling and valuation techniques to evaluate the viability of investment opportunities.

3. Investment Execution: Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment proposals, including investment memorandums and presentations to the investment committee. Contribute to the negotiation and structuring of investment transactions.

4. Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance and progress of existing investments in the healthcare portfolio. Support the team in developing strategies to enhance portfolio value and mitigate risks.

5. Market Research: Stay updated with the latest trends, developments, and regulations in the healthcare industry. Provide insightful market research and analysis to assist the team in making informed investment decisions.

6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Private Equity team and other functional teams to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is a plus.

2. Experience: 1-5 years of full-time experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity, with a focus on healthcare investments or related sectors.

3. Financial Acumen: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Familiarity with deal structures, financial statements, and investment principles.

4. Healthcare Industry Knowledge: A genuine interest in the healthcare sector, with a solid understanding of its dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.

5. Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to articulate complex investment ideas in a clear and concise manner.
