Overall Responsibilities
1. Overall successful execution and completion of all allocated projects.
2. Liaising with the client and other project stakeholders. This may involve travel to customers, suppliers and project worksites.
3. Co-ordination of all internal departments to ensure program deadlines and deliverables are met to achieve the project programme.
4. Manage and maintain budgets, and provide concise reporting to the Head of Project Management using the Wabtec Corporate Policy templates.
5. Manage, maintain and develop the project programme, in order to appraise the client and PLPC Senior management team.
6. Ensure the project is delivered on programme, on budget, to the correct specification and safely.
7. Build and maintain a team to deliver the above. Highlighting any potential resource issues.
8. Awareness and adherence to Health, Safety, legal and regulatory requirements.
Detail Tasks
1. Lead and co-ordinate the project team.
2. Co-ordination of design, manufacture, despatch, installation and commissioning using established company procedures and the Project Management Plan.
3. Ensuring contract is delivered on time, on budget, safely and in accordance with the client’s specification.
4. Instil a customer focused culture and a right first time approach.
5. Ensure clearly defined budget and program is adhered to and maintained through to contract completion.
6. Achieving project milestones through utilisation of a clear project programme.
7. Co-ordinate timely procurement of materials and sub-contractors.
8. Ensure timely generation of invoices and expediting of payment by the Finance team.
9. Manage and maintain the Risk Register to identify and mitigate all project risks.
10. Chair regular project review meetings with the project team.
11. Ensure all deliveries are shipped, delivered and received to the client’s satisfaction.
Other Duties
1. Any other duties that may be required to ensure the smooth operation of the Company.
