We are happy to announce that Manifesto Market Potsdamer Platz is looking for friendly and customer-oriented hosts and hostesses.

Manifesto is a sustainable cashless food hub that gathers local gastro entrepreneurs, artisans, and Michelin-recommended chefs in one exciting place.
Manifesto operates trendy food market at Prague Anděl and will open soon a flagship 'food hall of the future' in Potsdamer Platz, Berlin.
Manifesto combines dining experiences with entertainment, educational, cultural, and lifestyle events to transform places into memorable destinations.
We are a company that aims to bring people together. It’s that simple!

You will:

Greet customers at the entrance upon arrival and departure.
Work closely with our Operations Manager to be aware of all events and reservations happening during your shift.
Guide guests to their tables, through events and around Manifesto.
Make reservations and receive payments via our IT systems.
Be familiar with the market layout and have the ability to answer detailed questions guests may have about our restaurants and bars.
Use a walkie-talkie to communicate with our Operations Manager and lead server to announce guest arrivals.
Be constantly present at the entrance during your shift, not including breaks.
Maintain an orderly entrance and reception area.

For this job you need:

Ideally, previous experience in a similar job, though full training is offered.
Good communication skills, a pleasant demeanor and a pro-customer approach.
The ability to handle all customers, even the difficult ones.
Presentation, communication and up-selling skills.
The ability to be a strong team player.
Excellent personal presentation, hygiene and grooming standards.
A cheerful and positive demeanor.
The trustworthiness to be 100% relied on and the ability to handle stress.
To be available to work a flexible schedule.
To work on your feet for 8-12 hours, with sufficient breaks in between.
You are fluent in English or in German.

Job conditions:

This position starts in Q1 2023.
3-5 shifts per week: 9am-5pm, 12pm-10pm and 6pm-2am.
A full-time or part-time employment contract.
To be considered for this role, you should have a right to work in Germany. We do not provide relocation services.
