PagoNxt is looking for an Accountant

Area: Merchant Solutions

Location: Munich

PagoNxt (a Santander company) incorporates the most disruptive payment businesses, creating one of the world’s largest private fintech. We operate in three business areas:

• Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirer
• Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs
• Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals

This role will be part of our Merchant Solutions team, responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform to create opportunities for merchants and acquirers worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As Accountant you are a key contact and expert for the payout process and connector to technical departments.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Checking and monitoring of changes on the merchant bank details as well as on payout stops
• Timely import of billing files from the billing systems into CODA (local accounting system)
• Initiation of payment runs and creation of payout files including corrections based on related error reports
• Bookings of final payouts via Autobank interface
• Clarification and monitoring of merchant accounts
• 2nd level support for internal and external requests

Qualifications - External
We are looking for someone who has:

• Commercial education
• several years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Payables Management in a financial services company
• Experience in accounting of trade and other receivables/payables as well as in finance in general
• Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills
• Fluent in German and working proficiency in English
• Affinity for technology
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Strong communcation skills and analytical and problem solving skills as well
