To our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team covering Europe and Africa region we are looking for passionate and dedicated Industry 4.0. Project Manager. PM will lead the execution of the Industry 4.0 projects for introducing intelligent automation into EU & Africa seating plants, as part of the EU I4.0 strategy. This includes macro level project management, management of the Integration Teams (including coaching and mentoring), reporting out to Senior Management, communication with Suppliers, confirmation of Business cases with the Plant teams, feedback of lessons learned and opportunities to refine the standard solutions.
Scope of duties:
Manage the I4.0 Execution/Integration:
- Ensure that there is a clear business case or operational need for each project.
- Ensure all AME Standards are adhered to, or signed deviation is issued.
- Capex spend profile is managed correctly, including reporting to Central Finance team and cooperation with Central Purchasing team
- Manage project timing and communication with suppliers
- Ensure all Lear EHS standard and local authority regulations are complied with, during all projects.
- Tracking of all I4.0 project savings and reporting to senior Operations Leaders and Corporate I4.0 team.
- Ensuing flawless project launches
Manage the Strategic Industry 4.0 roadmap:
- Work closely with senior operational leadership and central functions to define I4.0 Roadmap to support business Long Range Plan.
- Work closely with Operations Directors to define localized I4.0 Roadmap for each BU.
- Working closely with rest of AME Team, lead creation of Project Management standards to be applied to all I4.0 Projects.
- Support development of Equipment, Automation, Controls and Process Standards by ensuring robust feedback from lessons learned during project execution.
- Regular review of developing I4.0 tools and technologies to identify opportunities to develop and pilot.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in leading Industry 4.0. projects in manufacturing company
- Strong project management experience with project budget control
- Fluent English
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within the role (up to 50%)
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and strategic approach
- Good communicator – comfortable in presenting to all levels within the business
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
