Responsibilities:
You will be involved in the following tasks:
- Maintain Demand & Supply Balance for finished goods and/or raw materials
- Understand and analyze demand and supply situation and take the lead in creating a sustainable short-, mid- and long-term supply plan considering inventory targets and security of supply
- Accountability for ensuring the planned STO export volume is executed each month for the sending region / area they are responsible for
- Responsibility for inventory levels to match production and customer demand for the individual business and communicate to relevant interfaces (logistics ops, customer experience, schedulers in other regions, etc)
- Track production / availability dates and adjust the plan in SAP, communicate any impact to production and planned schedules
- Follow up escalation plans to Logistics, Scheduling and Supply Planners
- Work on complex assignments where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth identification and evaluation of variable factors
- Proactively drive re-supply activities to improve production planning and material availability while optimizing supply chain processes.
- Handling complex situations with the ability to professionally work under pressure to achieve good results
- Initiate and maintain close cooperation with logistics / scheduling and customer experience team to consider potential restrictions and support productivity initiatives
Qualifications:
What You bring to the team:
- You obtain bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering or in similar fields
- Minimum 3 years supply chain experience in planning/scheduling or logistics related areas
- You have good communication, customer focus and team skills
- You are solution oriented, motivated, flexible, and have the ability to work under pressure, and have hands on mentality
- You have the ability to work independently and set priorities, work analytically, systematically and accurately
- Good understanding of global supply networks
- Minimum 2 years of experience and strong knowledge in SAP environment (preferably PP/PS, MM and SD)
- Good written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills in German and English both spoken and written
