We are looking for a Financial Controller for our Inventory Controlling team. The candidate must be capable of working with large data sets, can comprehend and ultimately improve complex processes, is expected to have good understanding of manufacturing process and/or having professional experience within. The candidate should follow financial principles and good practices, apply logic, and adopt “Think before you act” attitude. The successful candidate will become a part of very dynamic, enthusiastic, and dedicated Team, capable of working independently and collectively in an environment that offers creative freedom.

What You’ll Do

Report and control Tesla’s Inventory in EMEA; raw materials, work in progress and finished vehicles; goods in transit, and at Tesla owned / rented sites
Propose and build controlling strategies from the bottom up, embrace the “blank sheet” concept with regard inventory controlling
Sharply and accurately identify inventory risks and opportunities; and drive alignment around operational and financial actions to either minimize or mitigate risks
Achieve real time monthly closing without compromising high quality and highly accurate financials
Consider accounting standards and internal group requirements across multiple entities
Support the wider Finance team, taking on individual areas of responsibility

What You’ll Bring

Extensive financial and inventory controlling experience in a manufacturing environment
Relevant academic degree or professional qualification, or comparable experience
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks whilst under pressure, with a hands-on mentality
Strong business acumen and a strong understanding of end-to-end processes
Skilled in Excel, BI, ERP systems, SQL (or willingness to learn)
Excellent communication skills in English, German a plus
