Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Candidates will typically have 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
Typically 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Experience in C++, C, Embedded Systems, Kernel, Linux, Firmware, Device Drivers.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Automotive Systems, Rust, Real Time Operating Systems, QNX, CI/CD, Cloud development.
Experience with external and open source tech stacks.

Responsibilities

Lead the Software Engineering team to define and implement Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) specifications and develop its software stack, emphasizing quality, scalability, and velocity.
Define, design and own unified requirements for SDV aiming at multiple automotive OEMs.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive key decisions to enable software-defined vehicle architecture.
Define the team strategy, roadmap, and gain buy-in from stakeholders and leadership.
Manage, guide, and mentor Individual Contributors (ICs) in their careers and professional growth goals.
